However, as mentioned in the opener, that ground clearance can be increased through various options. The overall length is 214.7 inches, which is approximately 17.9 feet. A bright wight clear coat is the standard exterior color, and Jeep offers four premium options. The standard equipment includes 20-inch alloy wheels, and 22-inch wheels are available. A heavy-duty trailering package adds front tow hooks, a removable rear tow hook and a rear receiver-hitch. The Premium packages add the 22-inch wheels along with adjustable roof-rails crossbars, running boards and more.
In its default configuration, the 2022 Wagoneer can seat eight in a 2-3-3 layout. You can also opt for bucket seats in the second row, which lowers the seating capacity to seven in a 2-2-3 layout. Front headroom is more than 41 inches, and front legroom is almost 41 inches. Second-row legroom is almost 43 inches, and third-row legroom is almost 37 inches. There is more than 27 cubic feet of cargo space available behind the third row, and you can fold the rear seats for as much as 71 cubic feet. Standard features include leather upholstery, tri-zone automatic temperature control, a 10.3-inch color HD infotainment touchscreen, 12-way power-adjustable front seating and ambient interior lighting.

Rear-wheel drive is standard because it delivers superior fuel performance. Every 2022 Wagoneer has a 5.7L V8 engine that delivers 392 horsepower and 404 pound-feet of torque. Jeep mates this engine to a fully electronic TorqueFlight eight-speed automatic transmission. The V8 features a 48-volt eTorque hybrid system, which helps to improve fuel performance. The transmission offers driver-selectable modes, including dedicated modes for towing and hauling, snow and icy conditions, sand/mud and rock traversal. The max payload capacity of the Wagoneer is 1,500 pounds, and with proper equipment, a Wagoneer can tow as much as an impressive 10,000 pounds.
All models feature the Uconnect 5 infotainment system with a 10.1-inch color HD touchscreen that supports over-the-air updates. This is the most advanced Uconnect touchscreen to date and features a customizable home screen, five user profiles and a valet mode. Standard features include voice commands, Bluetooth, Amazon Alexa support and wireless Android and Apple support. Jeep also includes a large collection of standard driver-assistance technologies. These include automatic front emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-path detection, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist and adaptive cruise control.
