Jeep is reintroducing the Wagoneer nameplate after a more than a three-decade hiatus! The Grand Cherokee and Cherokee will remain integral to the Jeep lineup, but the Grand Wagoneer and Wagoneer are set to become the flagship models once again. The Wagoneer is being reimagined as an all-new three-row SUV. While it boasts one of the boldest and more modern Jeep aesthetics ever, those familiar with the classic Wagoneer can certainly see the inspiration. It is worth mentioning that the Wagoneer is not yet available at Don White’s Timonium Jeep. It will be soon, however, and the many questions we receive has motivated us to provide an early look at what makes this reimagined classic so compelling.

The eight-passenger model will have a second-row bench and provide seating in a 2-3-3 configuration. The seven-passenger model, on the other hand, will have bucket seats in the second row and provide seating in a 2-2-3 configuration. In both arrangements, headroom, legroom and cargo capacity are the same. The driver and front passenger are afforded 41.3 inches of headroom and 40.9 inches of legroom. With all seats in use, the Wagoneer provides 27.4 cubic feet of storage space, and you can fold seating for either 70.9 or 94.2 cubic feet.

Those who want four-wheel drive have three distinct system from which to choose. Differences include the transfer case and rear differential. You can also opt for an adjustable than can raise ground clearance by as much as 3.6 inches, and all models offer selectable driving modes.
All Wagoneer models have a 5.7-liter V8 HEMI engine under the hood. This engine makes 392 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 404 pound-feet of torque at 3,950 rpm, and Jeep pairs it to an eight-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain also features a mild-hybrid system that helps to improve fuel performance and provides additional horsepower and torque at launch. The Wagoneer has a 3.21 axle ratio, can tow up to 10,000 pounds and can haul up to 1,580 pounds.
The new Uconnect 5 infotainment system is standard equipment with the 2022 Wagoneer near Baltimore. Notable features include a 10.1-inch color HD touchscreen, a surround-view camera, multiple USB ports in all three rows, Bluetooth and wireless Android and Apple device integration.
