The 2022 Ram ProMaster arrives at Don White’s Timonium Ram with some significant updates. The six-speed automatic transmission has been replaced by a newer and more sophisticated nine-speed automatic. Ram has also added a wide range of driver-assistance technologies, including traffic-adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera system and parking sensors. The ProMaster comes standard with the Uconnect 3 infotainment system with a 5-inch color HD touchscreen. Features include Bluetooth and voice commands. Another big update for the 2022 model is a host of new standard and optional driver-assistance technologies. Standard features include a rearview camera system with dynamic parking guidelines, forward collision detection with automatic emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. Optional tech includes intelligent speed assist, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, lane centering and lane keep assist, pedestrian and cyclist emergency braking and a digital rearview mirror that lets you see out the back of the van even when that view is obstructed due to cargo or a trailer.
