Wheel choices this year let you decorate your ride’s wheels at will. Choose from selections like 17-inch black steel wheels (Sport), 20-inch gloss black wheels (High Altitude), and 18-inch granite crystal aluminum wheels (80th anniversary edition).

The two powertrain selections are both excellent choices for any rugged outdoorsperson. The 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine is rated at 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque for a towing performance of 7,650 pounds. A new diesel option is the 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 engine, rated at 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque for a solid 6,500 pound towing capacity. This engine has Variable Geometry turbo technology built into it, and it works superbly with its 8-speed automatic transmission.
Jeep’s goal is to have every Gladiator owner “go with confidence.” They want you to hop into the Gladiator and be able to go where other vehicles simply can’t go. To protect you on your journey, they’ve given you driver-assist features that amount to an extra set of eyes. You’ll have standard Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control with Full Stop, and Rear Cross Path Detection, among many other driver-assist features built into your frame. And don’t forget, Jeep knows that when you off-road, it’s a war out there. They’ve given your Gladiator solid strength steel skid plates and other tools to make sure that you’re always balanced on the off-road treks.
